Spring has sprung at Grafham Water!
With Grafham Water on your doorstep, we thought you may be interested in hearing about our upcoming Easter Egg Hunt Event.
Hidden around our park are giant Easter Eggs, each one decorated by a group in our local community.
Our local groups currently getting crafty include:
St Ives Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association
Kimbolton Primary Academy
And your very own Thurleigh Primary School!
The challenge is to hunt down all the eggs and complete your trail sheet with the spring word located at each Egg. Once you have found all the Eggs and completed your sheet head back to the Visitor Centre to claim a sweet treat.
The trail is free of charge so put spring in your step and hop along to our Visitor Centre for your trail sheet!

Children are invited to come to school on Friday 7th March in costume if they wish. Alternatively, they can bring in a copy of a favourite book, or find a special one in the library if they don't have one at home. This is completely optional, so if your child does not want to dress up, please don't worry!
There will also be a menu change for Friday - please see here for the World Book Day menu.
Fish and chips will be served on Thursday 6th instead of Friday.
We are looking forward to seeing all the different costumes and books the children choose as a way to celebrate and encourage a love of reading!
FoTS is holding a Disco for Reception-Y6 children - If anyone is able to volunteer to help out at either or both of the sessions, please speak to Tasha or Hazel. Thank you
We have just been informed that there will be some temporary traffic lights outside the school on the High Street, just as you go round the bend towards the village hall. We do not have any other information at this time, but please drive carefully.
The unveiling of the new village sign will take place on Thursday, 13th February, at 3:30 pm at the junction of The Close and High Street.
The sign, designed by a Thurleigh resident, reflects the rich history of our village and includes St Peter's Church, 306th plane from WW2, the Windmill and sports field.
Please stop by on your way home from school if you can!
There has been an accident on the corner of Mill Hill Road & Scald End Road. Please find another route to the school for pick-up today.
